[PHOTOS] Gunmen shot at car belonging to Mashha’s running candidate ahead of vote in Akkar

Unknown assailants shot at midnight at a car belonging to Mashha’s running candidate, Khaled Abdulkader in the north Lebanon district of Akkar.

 

Later on, two gunmen fired random shots at a neighborhood where families from al-Shaaban reside in.

 

Only material damages were reported with no casualties.

 

The security forces rushed to the scene of the incidents and opened an investigation in this regard.

 

This as the North Lebanon and Akkar regions are preparing for the upcoming municipal elections, set to take place on May 29.
