Former MP Farid Haykal al-Khazen stressed Wednesday that the votes cast during the municipal elections in Jounieh “represent a strong message that the Christian political forces must understand,” adding that he has achieved political victory in Jounieh.
In a press conference, Al-Khazen accused the Free Patriotic Movement and the Lebanese Forces of “attempting to defeat him in Ghousta by abolishing his political presence.”
This as he described the Marada Movement chief MP Sleiman Frangieh as “an ally,” pointing out that the latter did not interfere in Jounieh’s elections.
