Speaker Nabih Berri stressed Monday that “South Lebanon, from Bent Jbeil to Mays al-Jabal, Marjeyoun, Nabatieh and Sidon, has proven that it forms one geographical human unit that belongs to its history, martyrs, past, present and future in the face of all attempts to turn it into private entities.”
In a statement, Berri said that the southerners have once again showed that they represent coexistence, dialogue, reconciliation, sovereignty and resistance.
