On the occasion of Liberation Day, head of Change and Reform bloc MP Michel Aoun saluted “the resistance that liberated Lebanon from 22 years of occupation after the International Community failed to impose the implementation of Resolution 425 on Israel.”
Aoun also congratulated the Lebanese people on “this glorious victory”, expressing appreciation for the sacrifices that the resistance has been offering.
For his part, Kataeb party chief MP Samy Gemayel tweeted: “The joy of liberation can only be complete with the return of those who were forcibly exiled.”
