New “Farmbots” are slowly paving their way into the agricultural industry, allowing farmers to easily livestock over their land.
This new discovery is thought to make a cheaper substitution to human workers, taking over the industry.
Downs, a cattle ranch in the Australian Outback is one of the farms that have already put this great achievement into use, as its area extends to almost 4,000sq km and is extremely hard to handle.
Professor Salah Sukkarieh said that "It's farmers who are driving this because labor is in short supply and they are looking for technological assistance."
"We want to improve the quality of the animal health and make it easier for farmers to maintain large landscapes where animals roam free,” he explained.
