MP Naamtallah Abi Nasr asked Thursday whether the statements regarding the environmental damage that the Jannah dam will cause are a result of “a sense of patriotism” or “a discriminating policy between regions on the development level adopted at the state’s institutions.”
For his part, MP Hekmat Dib said from the Parliament that the Jannah dam project goes in line with the environmental requirements, noting that political motives are behind the obstruction of the project.
