REPORT: Minister Bou Saab announces series of reforms in official examination system
Minister of Education Elias Bou Saab said on Friday that a series of reforms will be done this year aiming at improving the official examination system.

“55 percent of a sample of students who took official exams last year confessed to cheating,” Bou Saab said in a televised press conference.

He also noted that correcting exams will now be divided into 12 divisions across Lebanon instead of just Beirut.

“I don’t want students to be worried. I am keen on that the exams won’t be difficult,” he added.

He concluded by stressing that the official exams will not be deleted, adding that the Ministry of Education will send to the students the results of the exams for free via text or email.
