The Free Patriotic Movement committee in the district of Koura, in cooperation with the local committee in the town of Anfeh, declared Saturday the party’s withdrawal from the consensual ticket, noting that the FPM candidates, Mireille Wafaa Daaboul and Ghassan Rassem al-Khoury, will be withdrawn from the municipal race.
The committee added that FPM supporters will have the freedom to elect whomever they see appropriate for the town.
In the statement issued, the committee said that politics have interfered with the development work and changed its true goals.
