Czech police extradites Lebanese national to US for supporting terrorism

Czech police handed the Lebanese national Faouzi Jaber, who was arrested in 2014 in Prague over arms and drug trafficking to the United States.

Jabber tried to sell weapons to secret U.S. law-enforcement agents while claiming to be part of a Colombian rebel group.

Police Presidium spokeswoman Marketa Janovska said that the process was implemented a few weeks back, pointing out that detainee will be sentenced to life imprisonment in the US.

In February,2016 both Ali Fayyad and Khalid Mouraabi were released in a pact of releasing five Czech citizens that were kidnapped in Lebanon in June 2015.

The release of the two Lebanese nationals had shocked the American embassy in Prague.
