The region of Qobayat witnessed Sudnay heated competition between two electoral tickets, one backed by MP Hady Hbeish, former MP Mikhael al-Daher and families, and another backed by the political parties.
During the long electoral day, two minor disputes took place, where one voter publicly flashed the ticket he was going to vote for.
For his part, MP Hadi Hobeish asserted on Sunday that the Qobayat voters make their own decisions, adding that Qobayat is the epitome of democracy and open political practice.
