United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon Sigrid Kaag expressed hope on Monday that the success of the municipal and mokhtar elections would contribute to breaking Lebanon’s political impasse.
“I hope that the municipal polls would pave the way for holding presidential and parliamentary elections,” she added.
