The security forces arrested Monday Attorney Nabil al-Halabi during a raid at his house in Aramoun, on the backdrop of a libel and slander lawsuit filed against him by head of Interior Minister Nouhad al-Mashnouq’s bureau Maher Abou al-Khoudoud.
The lawsuit was filed after al-Halabi released insulting comments and statements, accusing the minister of being involved in the human trafficking network of Chez Maurice.
