In recent decisions considered as security escalation in the West Bank, the security cabinet within the Israeli government convened to discuss next steps to be taken.
However, Avigdor Lieberman, the new defense minister, did not disclose the necessary measures to be taken, while Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was quick to declare from the scene of the attack that “they will take the necessary steps to attack the attackers and defend those who need to be defended.”
