Rai says families in Lebanon are biggest victims of political crisis
Maronite Patriarch Bechara Rai said on Sunday that the “families in Lebanon are the “biggest victims of the political crisis in the country.”
Rai’s comments were made during his Sunday sermon in Bkerke.

Congratulating fathers on the advent of their Day, Rai praised them for "their exceptional efforts and sacrifices, which they've been deploying side - by - side with mothers."
He also noted that families were being victimized by an actual political crisis fomented by worsening social, economic, financial and security conditions.

Also metaphorically referring to the president as being the head of the larger “Lebanese family,” he reiterated that Lebanese leaders without exception must uphold their constitutional duty by electing a president as soon as possible.
