Italy's Lower House Speaker Laura Boldrini said Monday that “Lebanon’s stability affects positively on the region.”
Following her meeting with Speaker Nabih Berri at his Ain el-Tineh residence, Boldrini expressed thanks to Lebanon for hosting 1.5 million Syrian refugees, in addition to half a million Palestinians.
In turn, Berri warned against the repercussions of the refugee crisis on Lebanon, the region and Italy.
