Lebanon hosts the largest number of refugees per capita, with 1,048,275 Syrian refugees in Lebanon registered at United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), not to mention the 500 thousand refugees not registered amid the absence of an official statistics.
The Syrian nationals are not the only people who fled to Lebanon, but there are 30 thousand Palestinians who arrived to Lebanon from 1948 and 1967, plus the Sudanese, the Iraqis and the Ethiopians, bringing the total number of refugees up to 2.5 million refugees.
