Under intolerable heat and humidity, thousands of Lebanese get stuck every day in a suffocating traffic jam near Nahr al-Kalb tunnel in Beirut.
The highway’s expansion project has not been launched yet as funds for land purchases are still awaiting the cabinet’s approval, funds are expected to be released in the upcoming session.
