Prime Minister Tammam Salam said that the facts revealed by the terrorist operation that targeted the Bekaa town of al-Qaa, whether regarding the number of participants or the means of implementation, show the nature of the evil schemes planned for Lebanon and the size of dangers threatening the country during this difficult stage on the local and regional scenes.
It also stresses the need to maintain highest levels of extreme vigilance and alert to thwart such plans.
In a statement issued by Salam, he affirmed that this attack proves that Lebanon’s stability is targeted by “the forces of darkness,” noting that the only way to fortify the country is by reaching unity behind the army and all security institutions in their fight on terror.
