A fire broke out inside a BMW car, which was parked in Amal Qassas’s parking lot in Koura’s Bziza, reaching the upper floor of the villa. Civil defense rushed to the scene and quickly put off the fire.
A first suspect was arrested in Al-Salam Hospital in Tripoli, where he was getting treatment for his body burns.
Security forces explained that the fire was deliberately set off, adding that they found burnt clothing and car keys suspected to belong to the offender.
A car was also found near the fire, security forces said the first suspect is a Syrian, Lebanese national identified with his initials as M.B.A.
