Governor of Hermel to LBCI: International organizations cannot prevent implementation of refugees related decisions

Governor of Hermel Bachir Khoder said on Sunday that the International organizations “cannot prevent the implementation of some decisions related to the Syrians refugees but can only protest against them.”

 

Khoder’s comments were made during an interview with Nharkom Said TV show whereby he noted that some refugees staying in Lebanon and not heading to Europe could help the security situation in the country.

 

He also noted that he issued a decision to relocate the camps of the Syrian refugees one year ago, adding that the decision was faced by a popular rejection.
