Lebanon's Labor Ministry said Monday that reports have emerged stating hat foreign domestic workers were denied access to a number of beach resorts, whether when they were accompanying their employers or when they came individually on their days off.
Accordingly, the ministry issued a statement whereby it deemed such decisions as a blatant violation of human rights, stressing that the appropriate legal measures will be implemented in order to put an end to this situation.
The ministry also urged the resorts’ owners to undo these immoral measures and to respect human rights, without discrimination between religion, race or nationality.
