REPORT: Lebanese charity distributes restaurant leftovers to the needy
Every Saturday, a classroom in a Beirut school serves as a dining hall for deprived people. Young Lebanese volunteers gather on the weekend to organize meals for the homeless and poor people.

The initiative was launched by 'Food Blessed', a Lebanese Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), that has served more than 240,000 meals as part of its fight against hunger since 2012.

The charity collects surplus food from restaurants in the capital city and redistributes it to those in need.
