Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Beshara Boutros Rai headed on Wednesday a meeting for the Maronite institutions.
Maronite General Council Head Wadih El-Khazen noted that the meeting tackled the main affairs handled by the Maronite institutions in order to activate their role on the national and social levels.
“Patriarch Rai is keen on defending the higher interest of the country and the importance of partnership in protecting the Lebanese identity,” he added.
