Seven months have passed on the arrest of Former MP Hassan Yacoub after he was accused of abducting the son of the former Libyan leader Moammer Gadhafi.
Judge Ziad Mkanna had issued on Tuesday an order to release him but Gadhafi’s attorney Bouchra al-Khalil had requested an appeal.
Al-Khalil had previously told LBCI that the permission to appeal was refused and another request was underway, but she came to deny that saying that the indictment committee had not yet given an order in that matter.
Al-Khalil explained that she’s waiting on the judiciary vacation to end until Hassan Yacoub’s faith could be determined.
