Former Minister Fadi Abboud: FPM primary elections are a unique democratic experience
Former Minister Fadi Abboud said on Thursday that one party cannot impose reforms, adding that the Lebanese people are not subject to change in this period.

Abboud’s comments were made during an interview with Nharkom Said TV show whereby he noted that no current minister knows the appropriate procedures to be taken in his ministry to complete a formality.

“The ministries need experts,” he added.
As for the primary elections inside the Free Patriotic Party, Abboud noted that he is not a FPM member, but a member in the Change and Reform bloc, therefore he did not run for the elections.

He also said that the elections are “a unique democratic experience,” adding that he respects the opposition inside the FPM.
