General Security arrests Syrian national for belonging to terrorist organization

The Directorate General of the General Security issued on Thursday a statement saying that it arrested a Syrian national for contacting terrorist organizations.

During investigations, he admitted that he belongs to a terrorist organization and that he is involved in weaponry trade and smuggling weapons to terrorists.

Works are still underway to arrest other involved individuals, while the arrestee was referred to the concerned judiciary to act accordingly.
