Kataeb Party stressed in a press release on Monday that “presidential elections are the first step to a political reform, enabling the parliament to draft a modern electoral law and develop Lebanon’s political system.”
Marking 40 days after al-Qaa attacks, the party warned the government of the importance of not forgetting about border areas.
Kataeb also called for acting on promises given to al-Qaa residents, and providing them with highest level of protection and support.
After the party held a meeting under the chairmanship of its Leader Samy Gmayel, it emphasized its demand to stops all tenders taking place at the ministries and the Council for Development and Reconstruction, while limiting them to the tenders’ department.
