Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri called for a ceremony to mark the 38th anniversary of the abduction of Imam Musa Sadr and his two companions Mohammed Yaqoub and Abbas Badreddin, who disappeared in August 1978 during an official visit to the Libyan capital, Tripoli.
The event will take place at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, the 31st of August in the city of Tyre.
Berri said in a statement that this event is meant to assure the freedom of Imam Sadr and his two companions from the Gaddafi regime.
