REPORT: More suspected militants surrender in south Lebanon

Last month, the Lebanese state and Palestinian factions agreed to encourage wanted suspects to turn themselves over, with assurances that they would get fair trials.

This led nearly a dozen suspected militants to hand themselves in, including the son of a prominent commander with the al-Qaeda-linked Abdallah Azzam Brigades.

Abdallah Toufic Taha surrendered to Lebanese authorities Monday near the Sidon Public Hospital.
