REPORT: Turkey opens latest bridge in megaproject building spree

Turkey will open one of the world's widest suspension bridges on Friday, which will create a new link between two continents, the latest mega project in a 200-billion U.S. dollar building spree that is transforming Europe's biggest city.

The third bridge to span the Bosphorus Strait, which divides Istanbul and separates Asia and Europe, spans to 1.4 km and boasts eight lanes for vehicles and two railway lines.
