Thirty years have passed and the families of the disappeared people have not lost hope.

 

On the occasion of the International Day for the Disappeared, which falls on August 30, the International Red Cross Committee recalled the cause of Lebanon’s disappeared people with a short video, depicting the lonely life of a mother of a disappeared person.

 

“Your war ended, her war did not,” is the title used for this year’s campaign, which aims at reminding the world that some people are still suffering from the war.
