REPORT: “Wings of Lebanon” plane lands in Tel Aviv; Beirut airport head clarifies

After recent news stating that a Lebanese passenger airplane “Wings of Lebanon” had landed in Israel’s Ben-Gurion Airport, Head of Rafic Hariri International Airport Fadi Al-Hassan said it was a misunderstanding, saying that “the plane itself is not originally Lebanese and was only leased from the Turkish Airline Wind Tail.”

“The plane was sent to turkey for some necessary maintenance works, while Lebanon received an alternative plane. After works were done the airline used the plane, but did not remove the Logo of the Lebanese Airline “, he explained.

Al-Hassan denied Lebanon’s involvement in that matter.
