Residents of the town of Ain Dara in Aley district blocked Dahr al Baydar quarries road on Monday, declaring an open-ended sit-in after owner of cement factory Mr. Pierre Fattouch moved in new equipments to the area.
The residents have been staging movements for months against the establishment of the plant in their village, citing environmental and health damages to be caused by such step.
