REPORT: Lebanon’s festivals stir controversy
Summer in Lebanon does not really start until its festival season begins which last for nearly two months.
It features concerts, theater, opera, jazz, dance, choreography, music, international bands and stars which perform in various regions across the country.
However, a Salafist party voiced discontent over such festivals, mainly the ones that take place in the northern city of Tripoli and in the southern city of Sidon.
