On Wednesday September 28, 2016, the price of 95 octane fuel and that of 98 octane fuel dropped by 100 LBP, while the price of a gas canister increased by 100 LBP.
The table issued by Minister of Energy and Water Arthur Nazarian set the prices of hydrocarbon derivatives as follows:
- Gasoline 95 octane: 21,600 LBP
- Gasoline 98 octane: 22,200 LBP
- Fuel Oil: 13,200 LBP
- Diesel Oil: 13,200 LBP
