Hariri was accompanied by former Minister Ghatas Khoury, his counselor Hani Hammoud and the head of his political bureau Nader Hariri.
Following the meeting, Geagea announced that “differences with Hariri over the presidential issue began to narrow,” pointing out that presidential elections entered a new phase.
“It is not over yet,” Geagea clarified, adding that Hariri might not reveal his stance in this regard anytime soon.
In the same context, the LF chief said that House Speaker Nabih Berri would not have taken his uncompromising stance over refusing the arrival of General Michel Aoun to presidency, if he did not hold consultations with Hezbollah.
“Upcoming days will reveal everything. At the end, Hezbollah cannot hide forever,” He said.
