The International Orthodox Christian Charities Organization (IOCC) established in the town of Anjar-Beqaa artesian wells along with a solar power system for power generation, which will be used to pump water to the upper town reservoirs.
A Norwegian fund helped in completing the project, noting that the increase in the number of residents in the town due to Syrian displacement aggravated the water crisis in the region.
