Family of child Mira Suleiman Hussein called on Minister of Health Wael Abou Faour Friday to find their daughter a place in one of Beirut’s university hospitals, in order to transfer her from Al-Youssef medical Center Halba Akkar where she is undergoing treatment for a tumor in her head.
The girl’s family members stated that she is suffering from a swelling and an internal hemorrhage and thus she is in need of a surgical procedure. They also explained that the medical equipment required for the surgery is not available in Al-Youssef Medical Center.
Mira’s parents pointed out that they are willing to cover the expenses of the surgery however they only need a room for their daughter in one of the capital’s hospitals.
