Former Tourism Minister Fadi Abboud stressed Sunday that MP Michel Aoun is “the most presidential candidate to have a popular support since a very long time.”
In a statement to LBCI’s Nharkom Said, Abboud noted that “the package deal proposed by Speaker Nabih Berri has to be imposed by the people on the parliamentary election candidates, not on the president,” stressing that imposing pre-conditions concerning the presidential elections is categorically rejected.
On another note, Abboud pointed out that the position of Education Minister Elias Bou Saab was clear when he refused to sign any budget for any security institution before resolving the issue of the State Security.
