Minister of Tourism Michel Faraon stated Monday that telecoms data is given to all security apparatuses except for the General Directorate of State Security, noting that funds to the agency are blocked because of a lack in commitment to promises.

Faraon said during a speech that the decision to stop funds to State Security requires a Cabinet meeting in addition to a Higher Defense Council meeting, and that a personal disagreement should not paralyze the apparatuses, noting that if there was a president for the republic, the crisis would not have aggravated.
