Former Minister Ghazi al-Aridi stressed Tuesday that the Progressive Socialist Party has not yet made up its position regarding the presidential file, noting that the party’s stance will be declared soon after the meeting scheduled to be held between PSP head MP Walid Jumblatt and MP Michel Aoun.
In a statement to LBCI’s Nharkom Said, al-Aridi said that the PSP will attend the session on October 31st with a unified position, adding that a new president will be elected next Monday, “but in this country anything can be expected.”
“The current facts confirm that MP Aoun will be the next president,” he stated.
