With three days separating Lebanon from the parliamentary electoral session, during which a president is expected to be elected, the latest vote count show that MP Michel Aoun will receive 85 votes, while MP Sleiman Frangieh 21 votes. The remaining 21 votes are divided between blank votes and undecided votes.
Monday’s session comes after 45 failed ones that dragged the country into a two-year long vacuum.
