With the presidential electoral session drawing near, analyses and polls increased significantly over the past week, the most recent among which a study detecting the Lebanese people’s views on MP Michel Aoun as president.

 

The study was conducted online between 18 and 22 October and included citizens aged above 21 years old from across the Lebanese regions.

The first question in the poll was: Do you think the electoral session scheduled for the 31st of October to elect MP Michel Aoun as president will take place?

Yes: 67%

No: 25%

I do not know: 8%

Second question: Who played the most major role in leading MP Aoun to the presidency?

US: 5%

Iran: 7%

Saudi Arabia: 8%

Samir Geagea: 24%

Saad Hariri: 25%

Hezbollah: 31%
