On the occasion of the election of Michel Aoun as President, supporters started flocking from across the Lebanese regions to the Baabda Paalce, amid tight security measures.
President Aoun delivered a speech whereby he recalled the events of October 13, 1990 and pledges to work on building a string state, where corruption will be eradicated and all politicians respect the Constitution and meet the needs of the people.
The supporters committed to the Lebanese flag only, upon the request of President Michel Aoun.
