REPORT: Communications committee says case of illegal internet will not be diluted

Member of the Loyal to the Resistance bloc MP Hassan Fadlallah declared Thursday that the judge tasked with the issue of illegal internet started interrogating the defendants, stressing that this file will not be diluted.

Following the meeting held by the Communication Committee, Minister Boutros Harb said that he does not want to be minister in the new cabinet, calling on his successor as telecommunications minister to follow up on the case of illegal internet.

For his part, State Prosecutor Judge Samir Hammoud announced that the investigation in the illegal internet file is being conducted according to several courses, adding that no espionage has been detected.
