REPORT: Saudi delegation visits President Aoun

Saudi Prince Khaled al-Faisal, accompanied by kingdom’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Nizar bin Obaid Madani arrived on Monday in Lebanon.

 

Caretaker Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil welcomed the delegation at the Airport, in addition to the Saudi Embassy staff and Saudi Embassy's Charge d'Affaires Walid Al-Bukhari along with Gulf Ambassadors to Lebanon.

 

The delegation then headed to the Baabda Presidential Palace​ and met with President Michel Aoun.

 

 “I carried two letters to the president from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. The first ​conveys congratulations on his election as president and the second contains an invitation to visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” Prince Khaled al-Faisal said following the meeting.
