Member of the Change and Reform bloc MP Hkemat Dib stressed Monday that agreement has been reached over the fundamental matters regarding the governmental file, such as the national unity cabinet, the need to pass a new modern electoral law and holding the parliamentary elections as scheduled.
In a statement to LBCI’s Nharkom Said, MP Dib noted that a few details remain to be finalized, adding that once the issue of the ministerial portfolios will be resolved, there will be no difference between a 24 or 30-minister cabinet.
In the same context, the deputy said that there are no vetoes on anyone in particular, pointing out that the Free Patriotic Movement has given up on its previous ministries in the favor of other Christian parties. “The FPM cannot sacrifice anymore,” he stated.
