The cold wave that has been hitting the country caused the formation of an ice layer on the plastic houses across the Akkar plain and destroyed the crops, causing damages to the agricultural seasons.
In this regard, the famers called on the Higher Relief Committee and the Agriculture Ministry to survey the damages and grant them compensations.
