Transportation union announces general strike on December 8

Lebanon’s Unions of Land Transportation announced on Tuesday a new general strike across the country to be held on December 8.

"Escalation is ongoing outside the mechanical inspection centers and we will hold a general strike on December 8 to press our demands," the unions said.
