Future bloc urges parties not to “weaken momentum achieved with election of president
The Future bloc urged on Tuesday urged the Lebanese political parties not to “weaken or waste” the momentum that was achieved with the election of a new president.

The bloc’s comments were made following its weekly meeting that was chaired by MP  Fouad Siniora whereby it noted that the Lebanese people are pinning hopes on the new presidential mandate.
“the future bloc sees that there is an offered chance to achieve a correct start of the new presidential tenure and this chance must not be weakened or wasted.” The bloc stressed.
Aoun’s election as president and Hariri’s appointment as prime minister-designate have raised hopes that Lebanon can start tackling challenges that face the country.
This as Hariri and Aoun are still struggling to form a new cabinet amid conflicting demands from the various political forces.
